AVAILABLE POSITION

R&D Application Chef

Responsibilities:

  • To continuously develop new recipes to extend menu archive & refine taste profiles. To develop product improvements based on sensory testing and consumer data.
  • To work closely with dietician in ensuring that recipes created follows the nutritional information specification.
  • New product development from ingredient sourcing to lab prototype development, sampling preparation, costing, trial run, product SOPs & product specifications, and refine recipe formulation for mass production purposes.
  • Troubleshoot production processes to resolve production, quality and regulatory compliance issues.
  • Work closely with Business Development to develop new products to achieve business goals and targets given
  • Coordinate with inter-departments such as Business Development and Dietician to meet customers’ expectations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of (5) five years of experience as an Executive Chef/Kitchen Manager in the Healthcare industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required in Food Science, Food Tech or Culinary Arts.
  • Required languages: English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Required skills: Independent, communication and problem-solving skills, able to work in face-paced environment and meet goals.
  • Willing to work on Saturday and any other duties as deemed necessary.
